The conference youth leadership training event for students, held in conjunction with Annual Conference.
Time is spent looking at what it means to be a leader where ever you are using the spiritual gifts and talents that God has given you.
This involves a main speaker and workshops.  It is also a time where the youth leadership for the conference is determined.
Districts meet and choose officers and conference officers are elected as well.  

This year's theme is Mosaic!

Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas is a small, non-tourist island that receives very little help with the government for repair following storms.  We will work with the local Methodist Habitat program to build safe homes for the residents there.
The trip will be $1,000.00 and is for graduated juniors and seniors who have previous mission experience.

This annual retreat is held at Beersheba Springs Assembly and is the last hurrah to celebrate the end of summer.
Generally, it involves a speaker, worship times, small group discussions, recognition of seniors and the great outdoors.
Space is limited.  Cost is $80.00. 

This is also an annual event, held at Cedar Crest Camp.  The cost is $55.00.  Options are built in for attending all or part of the retreat. Each year, we pick a topic of interest and spend time specifically training in that area.
Time is also spent sharing concerns and ideas with the other youth workers present. 
 

This is a mission oriented event, with lots of options and ways to be in mission.   

During the day on Saturday, groups will be spread across the Murfreesboro area working.  Lunch will be delivered to each work site.
We will re-convene in the late afternoon at our hotel to clean up and have dinner. That evening, we will have a concert time and fellowship. We will gather on Sunday morning for a time of worship together before we head for home.
What a great way to spend a weekend!   This event is for youth and youth adults.

Various Locations

This is a youth worker training opportunity that requires a school year commitment.
The class meets once a month to do extensive training in all areas of youth ministry.

 6 weeks of summer camp for elementary and youth ages.  These are held at Cedar Crest and information is available here.
The elementary camp is for grad. 3rd - 6th graders and is considered rustic camping.
The youth camp is for graduated 6th - 9th graders, with one week for senior high.
It is much less rustic and is housed in the lodges.
